Jonny is originally from Derry City in the northwest.

Jonny began his radio career with Inishowen Community Radio in Carndonagh many years ago. He worked on producing the weekend schedule. he was a swing jock covering many shows.

When he moved to Belfast a number of years later he found his feet at the door of Feile Fm in West Belfast. There he presented a variety of shows until the station closed.

Taking a break from broadcasting he had a regular 9-5 job. Several years later the radio bug bit him again and he presented the breakfast show on Drive105.3 fm in Derry for two years. The early mornings and long drive to the maiden city took a lot out of him.

After a short spell at Iur fm in Newry he came knocking upon the doors of Shine FM. He currently presents the Late Lunch on a Tuesday & Thursday from 1pm to 2.30pm as well as co presenting the E2A Unleashed programme on a Friday night from 7pm to 9pm with Stewart Penn.

Banbridge born Tony Greenaway joined Shine FM in May 2012 & presents 2 shows a week on the station.

I grew up listening to my dad’s Rock ‘N’ Roll records from the 50′s & 60′s, my mum’s Country & Folk Music, my older brother’s Punk collection from the 70′s & 80′s & my 2 older sister’s Disco, New Romantic & cheesy pop collections, which eventually led to me becoming an avid record & CD collector & creating my own Ska, Punk, Indie/Alternative, Rock, Reggae, Dance, Soul & Blues Collection + other odds & ends!

All of which you can hear on Monday’s & Wednesday’s from 1-4pm on Shine FM!

I really enjoy sharing my music on Shine FM & view it the same way as playing records & CDs to my friends in my living room at home. As well as possessing a passion for music Tony also graduated with Honours from Queens University Belfast with a Degree in Land Use & Environmental Management & has experience of working in the Music Industry with Attic Records in Toronto, Canada, where he also gained a Certificate in Recording Arts Management from The Harris Institute for the Arts.

Wife of Ian, Mum of Andrew, James, Chloe and Hannah and Physics teacher, Frida Kennedy has been involved in radio (originally as a “sound man”) for longer than she cares to remember.

Since moving to Banbridge, she has presented on Shine FM as a regular presenter and can be heard every Sunday morning from 8 to 10am.

Her interests include Music (she is on the committee of SELB Music Service Friends Association), Fairtrade and Christian Youth Work.
